That's funny.

You just label an image "French" and people come bashing it. But do they actually mock the image because it truly is stupid, or are they the ones being stupid for laughing at anything you apply the label on? You can find this image on some other sites, here for instance, right under an American flag patriotically displayed, or there, on a very serious and thorough guide in English language about shaving. There's no evidence this image has anything to do with French people. Moreover, when you look carefully at the images in the first link, you can see English words showing through the page. This diagram looks pretty much it's from a shaving guide for professionals which might very well have been written by and for English-speaking people.

This is insane. Don't they know all our faces are different? I'm still in trauma from thinking about the damage I'd do if I tried that on my fizzog.

Does the shading mean anything, btw?
