The Film Alphabet looked interesting.
It had ZOOM of course, but it didn't list the unsuccessful word that the French invented:
"MOOZ" - as in: "You ZOOM into a close-up but you MOOZ back to a long shot".
I also like the anecdote of the French Academy trying to ban the word "Zoom" before somebody told them that the Zoomar lens was actually a French invention of M. Angineux
